75mm Chasseur a Chavel with Lady

Hi all after the long delay in posting i have finally finished something , this double figure piece is the reason for the long delay due to the detail work required and much research to be done as it is a subject i havent studied before.
I have tried to depict a scene of a Chasseur a Chavel officer escorting his lady on a summer evening walk or perhaps to a ball.
For the first time i have used a large proportion of grenstuff for the sculpting mixed in varrying proportions with magicsculpt which i find gave me better results especially with the detail work.

Blog update

Hi all sorry for the slowness of the blog lately but i am working on a project which is taking a long time to complete, i am nearing completion soon and will post some images of the work.
this time i am sculpting a double figure sculpt which will consist a man and woman, the woman is causing some problems as i have never sculpted a female before and have had to rework the head several times.

More to follow soon !!!!

120mm Pilgrims Protector

This is a figure that i have been sculpting for just over a week,it was a quite fast sculpt due to the fact it all went really smoothly without having to correct errors as i went along,it was a real pleasure to sculpt this figure and hopefully painting will be the same.
